As a recreational or club runner it might seem like there’s little connection between the way you run and how the best runners in the world move over the ground. However, in all areas of life it’s great to have a benchmark and goals to aspire towards, and these smooth movers give us mortals exactly that.
The idea is not to try and emulate the speed and training of elite runners, but to begin taking gradual, small steps towards the underlying muscle activation and movement patterns that make these runners so good.
